i m doing a face manipulation tutorial now...not sure though if its what ure looking for anyway this will be the result of my tutorial
Hey guys, i can do a video tutorial tommorow or friday, but i need some suggestions. nothing big such as modeling an entire helmet, that takes too much time for me to spend in this short vacation..

I'd like to learn to make logo/badge
resourses (as in placeholders) of
- "minor" UI elements ,like the "falling" left screen icons (with maybe, already edited couples of new tga. pages and sd.xml files ,plus ,layer crops of frames and "bases")
i've seen musculus maximus's "new interface" topic in the mod threads section ,about the new enlarged "falling" icons ,for example...
i've already done something about that regarding the battlepages and battle.sd.xml for the battle UI buttons (most buttons are now in one single battlepage_04 ,loaded by an accordingly edited battle.sd.xml)

this way ,one does the boring part (like creating the new tga page and editing the sd.xml and all can benefit by having only to concentrate on using the placeholding files for their own style and mod purposes)
-"medium" UI elements ,like various crop-layers to use as frames for custom portraits (so "formated" as in an otherwise empty shaderpage_00 with just those frames in them ,in order to use as layers ,for just coloring or editing these parts...i've attached two examples about the frames used in shaderpages_00 and _01)
-"major" UI elements like "broken down" into layers ,"major UI" tga pages...
(i've also attached an example of battlepage_01...
*even though , i've been using paint.net till now so this file will be in pdn form ,haven't tried to open it with gimp
-"other" stuff ,like the necessary ,if already edited by someone, files in order to have bigger event pics , or even placeholding combinations of files that contain the necessary entries about making various other UI-affine stuff ,like events that trigger when you reach a certain landmark etc
(like for example third age has ,but with videos...since videos are a bit difficult for non experienced guys ,the same concept but using pics would be great!)
anyway...to make things short ,just all the simple (yet really boring to do ,at times) basic or aux layers and files people use ,while working on whatever UI customisation
Could anyone make a tutorial for creating a whole new unit texture, from scratch?
