    Icon6 Colonialism Total War - Previews & Youtube Trailer !

    COLONIALISM TOTAL WAR

    This mod plays in the timeframe from 1618 to 1773, so from the beginning of the colonial Age, except the spanish and portuguese.
    It will contain only new units, a lot of new buildings, new campaignmap and new factions, like the swedish and the dutch.
    Every faction, except Portugal and the Kingdom of Spain, start with 1-3 regions in the new world.
    It will be really difficult for you to set a stronghold in the new world, because Native Tribes and less population will challenge you. You can also try to get a colony as a historically "wrong" faction such as Venice or Savoye.

    Some of the Units are partly from XVII century mod, but im allowed to use them. Mostly they are remodelled or reskinned, but still its a really big help that i may use them here.



    Im still searching for a second 3d Artist, and animation Artist.

    1th is possible...the animation is, bringing it in the game maybe not...

    2nd is sure... in the Hardgame mod its done

    4nd is also possible, look at the animation when someone is hit by cannon, and
    lies on the ground an stands up.
    When you make the lying animation really long ist great, really thats possible,
    i just need the animation itself.
    Bringing it in the game will be my task, i think this should work...

    Changing name of thread is quite easily ; double click fonts of this thread in wips forum , rewrite and press enter or click "edit post" button at your first post

    But, maybe, you should do something on improving your 1st post, maybe bringing the image Odoaker has posted into it as some kind of "opening grabber"

    yes i did... we have early units, the iroquois seen on the picture above,
    we have new musketeers, some cuirassers, and kind of line infantry, but that has still
    to be improved, and there still missing much units.

    Hum, the New-sctoland province is during this time "l'Acadie", a french, and not a scottish, colony. And scotland is not really a faction, it depends of the King of England, no ?

    I'm very happy to see this mod, but maybe could you try to work with THE FRONTIER ? Your projects are very similar.

    i offered them to help, but they didnt need me they said, and also dont wanted
    to support me, so no....but they were not unfriendly they just dont wanted

    the map itself is done, but there are missing many regions, and the ground types and climates and heights
    still have to be improved, by my mapper, Odoaker...

    yes im having progress, but odoaker has a problem with his PC and needs to buy a new one, so the progress is slower then it should.
    but i have few more units, the factions are nearly ready, and i have concepts, which just need to be scripted, for slavetrade f. example...

    so, im still working on it but age of enlightenement dont want to really work together, but still we exchange knowledge / ideas.
    so, yesterday i finished the curiassiers of the early period, i guess i will make a preview soon...
