Civil War?
It was mentioned in another thread that not crowning Faction Leader can lead to civil war. It is surely that I have not played deeply into the game for this to occur but what happens? Are we talking about the formation of a sub-faction within your faction that you have to fight or it is something handled more abstractly? thanks

Re: Civil War?
The easiest way to get a civil war is to have a mild mannered faction leader the nobles hate, can't get crowned, and the loyalty in the regions just tanked because of it. It can happen but it's rare.

Re: Civil War?
What occurs when it does happen? Do the disloyal generals actually form armies and attack you?

Re: Civil War?
Get a civil war going, the regions they are in will rebel, if not kill the general run him out of the settlement, and become a rebel faction in thart region. Then you have go reconquer it with a loyal army. It would be chaos theory at its best.

Re: Civil War?
Many times to problems occur when you get civil war early in the game perhaps even in turn 2. If that shows up, it most likely that all generals are going to be loyal to the king. In other words civil war with only one side. A nasty bug that is, which can be fixed only by removing some traits by console.
