    CAMPAIGN WITH THE SPAIN FACTION
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

In memory of all those small, but large anonymous heroes who made the impossible possible ...... and Arturo Perez-Reverte would say ..... A knife and flowerpot Intifadah.....

I've played on hard / hard and really has been a challenge. The most important thing for those who decide to play for Spain's take into account the economy, especially the first few turns, not to recruit units and maintained the home can help a lot in the development of the campaign. Trying to seize the commercial enclaves as soon as possible and recruit merchants to send to these enclaves will be vital to add some extra income. If anyone expects big revenue over the campaign is not going to find.

The decision to construct buildings, where and when, will also be vital. Out to conquer the provinces quickly can cause the loss of what little is accomplished. Also there often to watch our ministers and the qualities of them. Both the Treasury, Justice and the Army and Navy can greatly influence the economy. Not always have to replace them .... sometimes simply change one of them causes economic benefits or Ministry of overall stability.

The fact is that after testing the specific units of Hispania, the region will seek insurance for their recruitment and cuidareis of them during the campaign because they are limited in number and are not always available.

Then I leave some screenshots and comments from the campaign. The first game turn is one of the most interesting, victory dances and the defense of Madrid and Zaragoza seemed to portend a good start.....

A pity Daoiz was killed the next turn, this is something that should be taken into account, as spies, guerrillas and agitators can modify our plans. Protecting others is not our generals to carry it in the army or guerrilla spy provide some things .... but they are not infallible. In addition to the rebellion in Galicia, although we gave that province, also leads to bankruptcy. Since the army present in the city consumed them all our resources. When you do not have need of the units, disband is best to clean up the economy. No less important was the victory over the French navy in the Strait of Gibraltar, in addition to capturing a 74-gun ship, allowed us to take over the Mediterranean and later of their commercial sites.

To make matters worse, the French continued attacks, had to add to the rebel armies, that the result of discontent in the provinces decimated the Spanish armies. We must also say that of our allies, only Britain took part in some cases, and some were life .... And last but not least ..... came the Revolution ......

Suppressed the revolution and rejected the rebel armies with the French ravaged the provinces, the largest military effort was devoted to defending Madrid and Zaragoza, as were two strategic points .... Both fell .... But it should be noted the continuing siege to Zaragoza was submitted until the end with two full armies and varied, after a fierce battle took France to victory.

The weak economy of Spain was just to keep small armies, and this made good use rebels and French armies. But the Spanish advance was underway and was gradually strengthening. A new victory over the French army in the Cantabrian made the command of the sea was almost total. And thus the possession of commercial sites.

After regaining Madrid and Zaragoza in particular, practically all of the Peninsula was already under Spanish rule. But there were regions in the Pyrenees. Here the strategy to follow was different, because after the occupation even if it was peaceful, the control of these provinces was extremely difficult. Then he resorted to looting and destruction of buildings, in this way saneaban the depleted coffers and fueling the anti-French sentiment, and not only that, if ciscunstancias fell back into French hands that will look hampered recruitment.

Strategy works, and although the rebel armies harassed determined, at the end was achieved stability in the area. Many were also spies and guerrillas who were used to eliminate the enemy agents in the provinces of the Pyrenees, especially the French rioters.

After the removal of French armies uncomfortable roam the Peninsula, was the final blow, making the region of Beira was the last region held by France, the end of the campaign was close .....

The situation remained fragile in the area of the Pyrenees and although France was history, had not yet reached the final objectives. I decided then that Britain was the next candidate for elimination, but facing the sea was not a good idea, since during the whole campaign had been building a large fleet.

Fortunately, after declaring war, Portugal had broke the alliance with Great Britain (Naive ... it also was near its end ...) and were gradually extaerminados the British. Although the objectives had been reached and won the season ..... Spanish pride Peninsula decided that all should be in his possession ....

There were a few turns at the end of the campaign, but the Portuguese armies were not a worthy rival for the experienced Spanish, and were quickly exterminated by land and by sea .......

In early October of 1814 and the entire peninsula was held by Spain, wrote a new chapter in the story ....... Many were the years of prosperity, and it was not until early April 1856, a new monarch to sit on the throne of Spain ...... But that is another story ......

    Thanks for the welcome.

The reason for that are not available in all units custom battle was space. Since the 23 new units, but those who brought the game were too numerous to put in the selection screen.

Anyway, if there is any interested in adding some unit ... or the rest, just have to modify MP Cost Early .... MP Cost Late .... and MP Unit Limited in the file units_tables .

I leave some screenshots for a better view.

Toon Thanks for making it compatible Toons_Battle_AI whith Hispania Mod

    Yes, possibly.

We had a more ambitious project to Hispania Mod, but we had to stop the Mod to know the output of the DLC.

The future DLC opens new expectations. We have to wait to see the improvements that can be entered.

Great mod scorpionet but you have to work accuracy for some units that have austrian shakos for example!
It would be a good thing to have a version with all the units for custom battle.
    Anyway, that's a great work!

The load screens are really good, but maybe you should write "Hispania mod" in a different font and in a different color?
