RTW wont let me re-install :S

i uninstalled rtw a while ago and now i want to reinstall it, but whenever i try it just says do you want to modify , repair, or unistall rtw, but none of those options reinstalls it, so i cant play it. then i went to where you can uninstall programs and saw there is a rtw file there, which when i click uninstall it says it does it but it doesnt disappear from the list, what do i do.

You have to some of the uninstall yourself.
You have to delete the RTW files and folders manually. The uninstaller does not clean up good.
You have to use a registry cleaner or regedit to clean the registry. The uninstaller does not.
Reboot.
Now, try to reinstall.

i've also got empire total war, do i need to uninstall the whole of 'the creative assembley' ??

Just the Rome folder.
