Amazing!
Just read every single word and studied every piece of screenshot, I'm still very unfamiliar and confused about all those names and expressions, but I'll hopefully get the hang of it, as soon I start playing this mod.
Suffice to say I freakin' love you guys, all of you!!!
The mapdesign, the units, the historical research, the sound! Mind-blowing and top-notch. This mod will be one of the selected few greatest works for M2TW. I want to see both AUH and EB2 in comparison and AUH win slightly!
ps: Ahyes, I almost forgot. Feeling slightly unconfortable with dual wielding units in this mod, but I guess its historically legitimate too?

Wicked Awesomeness
I like how the the princess looks.
I don't know the history behind that particular unit, I was as surprised as you when I saw the screenshots of it! The Niten Ichi-ryū style of Miyamoto Musashi used a two-sword form with the katana in the main hand and the shorter wakizashi in the off-hand. This is after our time period and very far away, so I'm not suggesting it was transmitted, as very few things aside from religion were transmitted into Tibet as we can see by the 19th century pictures which show Tibetan warriors looking basically the same. The plausibility of a long-sword/short-sword "dual wield" is confirmed by this historical figure though. Yelu will have to elaborate on the inspiration for the unit design and whether any liberties were taken with the depiction.

Awesome, just awesome
The music for Tibet is going to be awesome
Quick question, why is the Crescent Moon used as the symbol for Tibet? Shouldnt the Snow Lion or somewhat be in place?

The symbol is based on the actual seal used by the particular school of Tibetan Buddhism we have decided to base this faction on (Drikung Kagyu). See here and here. Remember there was no such thing as "Tibet" at this time, and anyway the snow lion flag is a modern creation dreamt up by the Dalai and some Japanese dude as they didn't have a flag for their army.
Cheers.
OMG!
goddam dudes, this preview is amazing
