Bosnian castles were build in a unique "Gothic style". It would make the mod interesting. Something totally different.

And besides of that; Bosnian castles were built in a way that they were always very "impenetrable".

For example if you would show to a "non Bosnian" the location of the Bosnian capital Bobovac, he would say to you that that is not possible. Because this capital was build on the top of a mountain like in faritales. This location is really like in fairytales. But more other castles were built at such "fairytales" locations at high mountains and at plateus of high mountains.

at the website of "zemaljski muzej sarajevo" you can find a lot of "Gothic remainings" from those castles which are really beautifull. A unique way of building which is totaly different from let's say the Bysantyse style.

Thats the point of every castle, to be impenetrable. Its not just Bosnian ones that are like that its every other castle. You look at castles around the world and a huge amount of them are built on top of mountains and hills and other natural "fortifications". There is nothing special about Bosnian castles that separates them from other castles on the Balkan peninsula.

That map is a GREAT piece of work, the elevations are so intricate! I like the ground textures too, truly great stuff!

well, there's a problem, cause il_duce said that max number of cultures are 7. and every custom castle takes one slot for culture...

Ras (first capital of Rascia)
Myzithras (?)
Nikopol (?)
Rhodos (?)

Thats 5 slots. All these places will me marked on the strat map by special models, and on the battle map by biggest fortress. It will be much harder to take over those places. That's the plan.

And then, we have big cities like:

Venice
Constantinople
Florence

il_duce - I have to tell tou that Vidin/Bdin was far more heavily fortified and uniqe- it was the biggest fortress on tha balkans at that time -14-15 century.So I think Bdin should take the Nikopol place or to take one of the slots.

PS - Rus2 have really good model of Constantinopol .

well, nikopol, you mean nicopolis? cause of great battle of nicopolis. if you mean on nikopol in bulgaria, than better vadin (bdin). anyways, i know that mystras was capital of despotate of morea, but i don't think it should have unique castle. rather bulgarian faction or hungarian

This is Ras. Its pretty much humble. But its a tipical castle from this area.
