Let's Play: Rise of Persia on Youtube

Hey community.

I was torn between doing an AAR for this game, or a Youtube "Let's Play" series. I decided to do the Youtube series. I've already uploaded a few episodes, and will be dong plenty more. Feel free to check it out, and let me know! Any comments are appreciated!

Thank you! I'm still a bit of a newb, but I'm working on editing things a little tighter, being a slightly better commentator, and, from episode 10 on, I'll actually have my videos in HD!

Haha. That's fine. It's all for fun, anyway. I jsut say the "rate comment and subscribe" thing because I hear that from a ton of videos, and If figured it was the norm. Uploading another 2-4 episodes in the next day or so, having to do with the fate of Athens.

You should start a new video for every battle. It greatly disturbs me having a video end at the start of a battle with no followup video available. Great videos though.

That huge battle against Athens was awesome. You should get a good navy going, clean up all the pirates, and start colonizing distant lands.

Heh, thanks. I'm pretty proud of that battle. And, yes, for sure, a good navy is going to be where I'll be spending alot of future dinarii.

Liked your gamble with Athens. The battle was awesome. Makes me really wanna reinstall this mod and play The fact that you haven't had any CTDs is encouraging as my last ROP campaign failed due to them.

Yep, just like Medieval 2 Total War. Relations go down if you don't honour treaties. Trade rights are one of the treaties, and if you don't trade with them, your relations start to slip. It's one of the many things that compounds the AI ganging up on the player.

Oh, and I'm using the latest version of Fraps. It can get buggy for some people, but it's gentle on my system, so no worries there.

Thanks for the very positive feedback everyone! Just a bit of an update. I'm working a wonderful job over the summer, but alas, it is out in the boonies of BC. Therefore, I don't have as much free time as previously, but the video series is still active! The updates will just be a little more scattered throughout the summer
