(Recruiting) Crimean War Mod (Part of the Victorian Age Mod Project)

Well I'm having this Idea and I think it will be well recived on TWC, but I need some help to get it done. This Mod will be of the Crimean War.



This is Part of the Victorian Age Mod Project Started by me and Pvt. Gunny.



THE CRIMEAN WAR MOD
-This mod will aim to add a few units to the game for the four main Factions. (Ottomans,Great Britan,Russia,and France)
-I will edit the Startpos so that Armies are already in the best starting positions for the battles to start quicker in the Campaign
-I will make at least two Starting Full Stacks (Russia will have more armies becasue they are out numbered) for the main factions. (I will add heaps of money to those factions so upkeep doesent break the bank of your country.)
-I will try to edit generals names to be accurate.
-I will hopefully get unit sizes edited that way they will be at least 200-240 for each Line Infantry, 160-180 for Light Infantry,80 for Horses, and probably 6 Cannons per Cannon unit.

I will need the following team positions filled.

Someone who can make new units- Amaz
Someone who can modify unit stats- Amaz
Someone who can make Pack files
skinner- I'm pretty sure thats also Amaz, but couldn't hurt to have 2 around.'

Team so far
Spartan 262- StartPos, Testing, Research, Unit Editor, and Mod Leader
Amaz- Unit editor and unit stats and other unit related things
djsnipy-Research and Unit stats.




I will make unit lists and other things but I really need a team so post here or send me a PM to get on the team.

Pictures for Units.

The Picture Below is a British Officer Uniform from 1830. This means the British Officers for line infantry will now look like this if at all possible. This is from 1830, so until I find one from 1854-56 if they changed.


These Pictures are from a British Light Company Sergeant from 1835-55 This will be used as a Light Infantry Officer.

British soldiers during the Crimean War wore either forage caps or shakos which tapered towards the bottom and had both front and rear peaks.

Hey, about Minie Rifles. Minie rifle ammunition used in the Crimean War by the British were said in some site I forgot about able to penetrate through the smooth-bore equipped Russian columns they faced. It might sound far fetched but in following American-Civil War these facts seem to be proven by battlefield reports as well as tests conducted by the French Army.

Also, those uniforms are dress uniforms. They probably wouldn't be used in battle except by the most eccentric officers. And cavalry.

Well you may need a skinner and someone who knows how to edit atlas and use the existing variations. some of the uniforms may not be the problem . The problem will be the map . Such mod need a Map of the area . Also such idea is very interesting ,we will see , Good luck to you.
