the reason is probably because, Al Muharraq was mistaken for Al Hasa
notice how Al Muharraq was even smaller than Bahrain compared to the one on the strata map

Then what?? cuz I couldn't find any other.... beside I think that last time I visited Qatar we went to a museum (forgot the name) and the guy said sumthing about AL Muharraq as well as stating that Qatar was poorly populated.... it was Bahrain that was usually targeted by ships from India, Persia and maybe China...

and Bahrian in the team of BC was a region from modern day kuwait to the uae which means all the east cost of arabia in that time
