When you start calling the Romans Byzantines....
When you start calling the Romans Byzantines....
I doubt that's caused by SS .when you go to bed and realise you are dreaming of thousands of little tiny naked knights on a scene, and their war taunts are saying "we love you" over and over again...>![]()
When you refer to the day of the week as a turn number.
when you see a cow and immediately immagine it flying through the air and smashing in to a wall
i live on a farm so this is not a good sign....

When you start a new campaign, play a while, pause it for a moment, and realize your entire weekend is gone.

"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you..."
You pick up the broom and run around the kitchen pretending to be a crusader knight...![]()
When you have weird dreams involving sieges fraught with worry about maintaining your male bloodline!
Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
When you see the Pope, and think "that's the guy I can not play as"
When you are in love with Eupraxia![]()
When you think Cav in every mod is underpowered.
All of these literaly true for me:
-When you read this whole thread in one sitting
-When you rate your teachers in a Dread-Chilvary meter, trying to actually relate their behaviour to general and governor traits
-When you wonder with your historian friend how the world would have evolved if the events of your long campaign would have really happenned
-When you consider playing with the Seljuk Sultanate honouring your Turk online friend
-When the most serious argument you had with your girlfriend last winter was about how playing with full Chilvary is bad and how you never should release prisoners
-When you joke about how a MTW II mod about your friend's tabletop roleplaying game an his world would be
-When you literally can't play vanilla anymore, and share Shogun II and SS playing time even when the first is supposed to be posterior and superior
-When the 1100-1220 and its sorrounding years become your favorite part of medieval times
-Your history teacher greets you from knowing things nobody else in the class knew. Obviously, you learned these things from TW games.
-When you read about medieval history an mentally "translate" it to SS game features (like vassals or having dread for executting prisioners, of the Peace of God being the reason sacking a Chirstian settelement makes you lose 2 crosses with the pope instead of one)
122. When you see the word istanbul and scream "ITS CONSTANTINOPLE!!!"128. when you read a novel a week in 3 min increments.-If you theorize about how a secretly female pope with bastard son would work after reading about it in an AAR a consider writing a short story about itAlso most "I know geoghaphy thanks to this game and sometimes I miss the medieval one with the real" lines on this thread
-When four of your friends strat playing SS and generall mods because of youwhen the SS forums is on the top of my most visited pages, aside from cracked and tvtropes
-When you try to translate the game's number from population and number of soldiers to real life ones just to compare the number of people your full-dread general killed to real life massacres and genocides
-When you start feeling guilty about how much of a dicks he was when you do the last one, but you keep playing with horrible generals.
When you play a full campaign every year since the mod's been out, not stopping until over 100 regions are under your control.
When you boast of how you have taken over the world multiple times.
When you know more about medieval warfare than your friends who are majoring in history.
When you come to this forum and post your empires of over 100 regions.
When you play every campaign for longer than 300 turns.
When your up past midnight posting in this forum.
