Trying this out for the first time. First page got really heated. I was afraid that the mod might be dead, but that was quickly dispelled seeing that the last post was only yesterday. I hope that things are going to plan.
The thing is, except for crash reports, Alreadyded doesn't ask for help. So I feel compelled to ask: Alreadyded, do you want something done that may be in my power? I don't ask for Kellenpure, for I think both of you already talked about it.

Most crashes happened when fighting those nasty new creatures and or while deploying stakes, but that might be coincidence...

You could help me in the meantime. I have been messing around in the export_descr_unit and found six units listed (at bottom of the txt page) that are not used in the current game. I thought they would make good mercenaries (ignoring the unit names). I added them to the descr_mercenaries script to try them out: one works completely (ME Archer Militia), four work but the units appear silver in battles (Peasants, EE Peasant Archers, Axemen, Spearmen), and one gives error (Persian Spearmen). Actually, the Peasants unit has a skin for Beornings, but not other factions. I'm really new to this, and reading up on how to do skins I see a lot of room for error and it looks like someone else could probably do it in much less time. So if anyone would like to help me get these units functional as mercenaries, much appreciated.
I'll be happy to help with the buildings as soon as the next patch is out. For the mercenary units... Well... I don't know how to make unit models, but seeing how many mods and submods exist for MedievalII, I think it would be easier to search for new units in existing mods. Assuming the creators are okay (and Alreadyded too) the only thing left is for you to think about "what" and "where". Once you've thought this out, I'll help you to search througth units (vanilla/Broken Crescent/Stainless Steel as well as other Third age submods, again assuming everybody is okay with that)
Gonna try and finish up the new battlefield terrain textures and unit textures for the new creature models this weekend. I am pretty sure those are the only things holding back the new release and they are mostly done already.
