what is the classification of Imperialis Germanicum unit? Does it belong in line with comitatenses or palatines or is it more of a auxilary? In what area will it be recruitable?

They are the personal bodyguard of the Western emperor, they can only be recruited in Rome.

They all look good buddy. My feeling is people are commenting less because they don't want to slow down your progress by getting you into lengthy discussions. Wait till you release the final version. For previews for the Romans I get at least some feedback.
Imperialis Germanicum will be new personal bodyguard. How will this affect candidati, stablesani, scholae or domesticorum. I always had a hard time with so many guard units available not knowing which served what purpose. which ones will you retain and which ones you think will be gone?
Im guessing comitatenses illirici will be solely recruitable in Illiricourm. Will we also have other area oriented comitatenses units like gallic, hispanic, syrian or african? Will you keep recruitment available to one or two cities like in SAI or every town in a specific region?
Give us some hint as to what expect from the Palatina units, how will they differ?

All stay, but where you can recruit them is the point.Imperialis Germanicum will be new personal bodyguard. How will this affect candidati, stablesani, scholae or domesticorum. As cue -> Dioceses.Im guessing comitatenses illirici will be solely recruitable in Illiricourm. Will we also have other area oriented comitatenses units like gallic, hispanic, syrian or african? Will you keep recruitment available to one or two cities like in SAI or every town in a specific region?
To the recruiting, yes.
Numbers, battle value and only few places to recruit them.Give us some hint as to what expect from the Palatina units, how will they differ?

Thank you Gaiten
To me all the units look amazing but I must say I have no expertise or knowledge in ancient arts. Im drawing my conclusion on comparing your models to the ones in current version. Great detail and totally new look.Sometimes you as modder you need stimulus and feedback.
Any chance for Herculani or Jovii or were those Palatine units gone by 410?Numbers, battle value and only few places to recruit them.
Your units look real good Gaiten. You can bet i will wait and download Ruina. Specially for the opportunity of playing the Eastern Roman Empire, but your work on the several families of the Sassanids look so interesting, that i will certainly try them. +RepSometimes you as modder you need stimulus and feedback.

My AAR for VGRII-AQUILAE
Sertorio: You are welcome. It was challenging to develop a unique recruiting system for the Sassanians for their unique society of tribes, noble and Royal agnatic Clans, vassal kingdoms and Sassanian household troops. I think I did a good job, but you will see soon.

I have not named the Roman units for certain existing Units. However, their shield symbols are used.Any chance for Herculani or Jovii or were those Palatine units gone by 410?

you know what Gaiten, Flavius isnt to far from the truth.
i know for me, thats the exact reason i dont really post on here, as last time i did you said that progress was going by nicely, so in a small way i thought continuously posting questions would only hinder you. good to know that isnt the case. been a while since i posted on the FD forum.
so how is progress so far? any bumps in the road? (glitches, CTD's, errors), or on the contrary, is everything actually going by soothly?
would be nice if the modders kept US updated with an occasional "hello, were fine, mods good, bye" haha xD
It is progressing well and will get released before September 3rd.

Details of the clothes and helmet are amazing!
Thank you very much.
The funny detail is that the units without body armour have been much trickier to design due these wonderful patterns on their clothing.
