[Gimp Help] Any easy way to cut off image from whole picture ?

Hi all,

I use free select tool for selecting the relevant part of image for cutting off but it is hard to do so. Is there any easy method for cutting off certain part from image ?

If so the free select tool is a bad choice. It's better to use the pen tool instead and then cleaning up any missed spots with your eraser tool. It'll take some time to figure out how the pen tool works and how to get used to it. But eventually it will speed up your process and give better results. Here's a tutorial about the pentool to help you on the way.
