    for example we can call this hemet as horned helmet or something like that.

    Well it's possible they kept their own traditional gear, for example the elites may have used more traditional gear than the lower classes as they would already have their own armorers. So unless their craftsmen were replaced by culture or war the we must also say the mindset of the Parthian became subject; to either better styles and tech if not to fit in.

    Of course as more and more years turn to decades, and final centuries the chances of assimilation increase.

    Yup, there is 400 years between end of parthian to end of sassanian.
    But we can have that helmet in shop with "Parthian helmet" name.

    Thing is we can't be very picky, it's called the dark ages for a reason, we aren't exactly swimming in period art so we need to try our best to figure out what they wore, but there's gonna be some artistic license if not guess work with a little embellishment here and there.

    Porbably not, cause I have no clue when it comes to making good normal maps I just use the GIMP plug-in and get these bad ones, though it's better than no normal map xD

    Creating a Helmet, part 4 is about making the nomal map from a highpoly and lowpoly model that might help now with sculptiris released.
