NO
tell me where this no comes from
~Contributions haven't changed much since his previous attempts
~Attitude is not that of a citizen. He's racist, etc.
~His debates are awful
~Etc.
i thought it was the same guy i've seen around the forums.
why would we include this as an example in his paragraph?
But he likes to debate in the Fight Club which is a good thing. Even though his debates there are somewhat limited. That Africa isn't really getting better. South Africa might be, since they are already mostly civilized, but the other nations still living like they are in the 1800's
Anyone got a heads up on the MP and ES sides?
When I moderated the MP fora he was one of the top troublemakers.
I've gone through his preview attempt. Can anyone see any improvement? I am not gonna say yes on his debate and wiki contributions. His debating is mediocre at best. Some of his posts in the D & D i have seen have been questionable. His wiki links are broken. Some of his ES articles linked above must have taken some effort so thats good.
Does he still cause trouble in the MP forums? Who should i ask?
He mentions Viking Prince as an admirer of his work, would like to know what he thinks about this.
I liked his attitude in writing for the ES. He started out wanting to help promote MP. I agree that he will not rise in rank based upon D&D. As to the actual politics in the MP, I am clueless.
I have not had time to review the previous application and any contributions since then. I will need some time to get it together.

Nein.
Since Heinz doesn't like him, and Heinz is a hippie, this means I should... like him. So a Da from me comrades.
Have to agree on this.
As well as his contributions to the editorials, from what i have seen he has done some interviews with members but the questions are almost always the same. It even looks like they are standard questions the only thing that is different in each interview is the answer.

Contributions ---- Debates
I will thank him for his work with an Abstain.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

I think most of the concerns are still with attitude more than anything else; he's always been pleasant to me, but it's clear this doesn't extend to the MP area all the time. The other problem is that he has quantity but not quality. He lists two guides and a tournament, but both guides are actually copies of one another with minor changes if any, and the tournament included 8 people and progressed rather haphazardly. He also has contributions to the publications, but again the problem of content being intrinsically good but lacking in quality and readability is present. I suspect there's a language barrier involved.
As always, I've liked his vigor, but disliked his approach. The MP culture in some respects seems to espouse the things we don't want to see in a Citizen, which may be the root of the problem(1 2). I don't want to make sweeping assertions, but the feeling I get is that, like many multiplayer communities, there's a lot of trash talking and not a whole lot of community building. Hopefully this can change, but when there's as many threads making fun of new players as trying to help them, and boasting or disparaging comments are commonplace, it certainly doesn't put off well.
With the MP restructure to consolidate it, he may be able to help that along. If he would try to counteract the MP culture of trash talking and boasting by being a model participant, I could see him becoming a Citizen in the future. For the time being, I'm still not sure about eligibility.

I do not apologise for rebelling. I am not sorry.
He is on the right track. As AL observed, the issue is more attitude than contributions. Though it will not matter this time, I will still cast a rebelious vote in the affirmative and wish him luck in a future application.
