Regarding Müller, I think I already explained myself. Bayern already has a solid block of offensive midfielders. there are only three spaces, and Bayern have just added an absolute top player (who was a request by the new coach) and is (rumored) to sign another top talent (in Draxler). And Müller is (though very efficient, fast and with good instincts) not as super technically gifted (not that he is bad technique-wise, far from it) as some of the other players.

I knew it would be this snobbish fetish for the super-duper "technically gifted" players. Kroos is less efficient plus lacking charisma (especially in the more important matches) and Robben is too prone for injuries - these are the two guys that should be worried much more. Müller can play center midfield, wings and even as a striker. And he represents the club simply better than almost any other player since his from the region.

This is not my fetish at all. Believe it or not, I like players like Müller who are more direct about their approach. But Guardiola, who trained Barca and specifically ordered mr. Super Technic Götze might see things differently.
And I was not even saying Müller would be the first to loose his spot or anything. But he (or all of them really) might not be very happy when they play a season like this, but apparently aren't "good enough" for whatever is planned from now on. That's all I'm saying.

I was watching the Under 21 games and the German team was totally underwhelming. Total lack of relevant names except Holtby. What happened? Run out of talents already? You'll be fine for a 5 years or so with the likes of Goetze, Schurrle, Reus and so on, but then?
Spain, Netherlands and even Italy look well equipped for the next generations.
