    yes look in tutorial section, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=347507 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=340047 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=340397 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=351371 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=340596
they give you complete information a to mod a unit
simpy open its unit_variant in PFM
expand item leftclicking mouse in plus (+) sign
double click in mesh and texture reference and paste in it reference you wish (you formerly copied from a unit owning it)
once done save your mod and edit userscript
check if all reference you pasted in your modded unit are listed in atlas of the "faction/prefix" your unit points. (eg. if your unit is france_xxxx_xxxx_xxxxx.soldier.unit.variant, it will point to france_xxxxx.atlas and france_xxxxxx.dds)
if references you added are not listed in such atlas, then you must add them or swap them with existing ones.
how to proceed it is explained in my tutorial linked above.
