When I start NTW.

I get the cinematic and it's fine. Then when I get to the actual game screen, it goes berserk and it shows like static in red yellow purple and sometimes blue. I don't know what to do. I've tried re-installing it using the disc and it still shows the static screen.



I tried to screen shot it, but it just showed my desktop so I cannot provide a picture.

I didn't install windows7, it was in there when I bought the notebook.

Four = Did you go to the manufacturer's website and be sure your motherboard drivers are up to date?

It's warm, but it's not unbearably hot.

Download and install Speedfan. It will give you a better idea of what the temps really are.

That my friend is called overheating. There is no way any of it should be that hot. That will cause your screen to go "berzerk".

Have you cleaned out the case?
How are the fans working?
Are any of the vents plugged?
Do you have a cooling pad for it?

Empire Total War and
Rome Total War and they both work, if that means anything.

The fans are working, It's blowing out warm\hot air.
I have a cooling pad that doesn't work because I can't find the cable.
