i believe at the time this submod is happening in middle earth the Kin-strife is occurring in Gondor
any chance that will be incorporated?
that would make this submod a really wide open one!

That picture has an obvious high contrast, it doesn't have to be like in the movie because there it has all sorts of filters. You can just use the sponge tool set at desaturate and use it over the gold part.

I believe the shield could be improved by distorting the map or the skin itself.

If you send over the helmet and shield I could try improving them.

    Great units koultouras!

But like LL already said the giant crown on the shields doesn't look very good, and I think (like I suggested earlier) the gold has to be toned down.

I still think that Ram's head, suggested by Il Ducce would look good on some shields

I think it wouldn't do any harm, there isn't much lore on Cardolan

you won't make it a faction symbol anyway

    Great preview.

The only unit I dislike are the Cardolan Wardens. Not because of the look but because of the concepot. I just dislike those archer/spear-hybrid.

i think that i know what u are afraid of....that the hybrid is combinig 2 battle styles
that when placed together makes the unit unbeatable
but i 've sort of incorpotated this in O.Chosen (frome) and found that they still are vunerable
and in fact quite a lot by melee attacks of restrictly infantry (regular) units

Nah, actually I dislike the fact that they switch to their spears so quickly. It just does not look good imo.

We are in T.A. 1309. A few centuries ago, Arnor, the Northern Kingdom of the Dunedain in exile, was dissoluted and succeded by 3 states; Arthedain, Cardolan and Rhudaur, struggling to seize the power of the once might Kingdom of Arnor with civil wars and numerous battles.
In T.A. 1300, the Witch-King, the Leader of the 9 Nazgul, ordered by Sauron himself, founded the Realm of Angmar, to the North of the 3 Kingdoms. Ally to Rhudaur, who was governed by Wicked Men of dubious origin, he was targeting in the end of the Dunedain of the North.
Will his evil purpose be fullfilled, or he shall be overthrown by the Men of the West?
well this mods timeframe is different than the one LOtR is based upon....
Yes , TATW Dale is allmost 60-70% plain Rushichi models and/or models (in case u think that DALE is some kind of a parthenogenesis)
Yes, Cardolan is also using edited rushichi skins (taken indirectly from TATW which used them )....but some newly made ones also....(knights f.e.)
and If i am right(not sure though) , i also assume judging from some previews, that new arnor and eriador also uses some rushichi skins!
    But just out of curiosity.....
How do LOtr units actually look like?
....and whos to judge that at the end of the day!!???
....We are making fictional mods people....trying to keep in line with lore always ofc!
Its not like historical mods in which the historical evidence are allways there to guide us through.....
    i think u understand what i mean!

    btw
