I have run into a couple of things that want resolved before I upload the next round for 3.71.

It is basically deals with the descr_events.txt and the historic events.txt. I have noticed playing that:

1. earthquake_in_silicia in descr_events.txt does not firein game although it is in the historc_events.txt and the eventpics are correct.

2. I have yet to see earthquake_in_alexandria orearthquake_in_alexandria_2 fire in game although they are lited in the historic_events.txt and the eventpics are coorect.

3. I have also seen the Black Death events fire all messed up.

Has anyone else seen these anomalies?

Didn't I already fix those Black Death events? I'm quite sure I put them where they should fire up looking with Geomod for the exact coordinates for cities.

What you did was good. I just expanded it. What happened was:

Black_Death_Hits worked and movie worked.
Black_Death_1 worked.
Black_Death_2 worked but skipped to skipped to Black_Death_4_Title.
Black_Death_3 and Black_Death_4 never fired.

I had enough regions in all of them I would have known if they fired. The fog of war was not going to cause this problem. Wierd.

What about first_blast_furnace? Did it fire along with black_death_1 and 2?

No and I think that is the problem. I have done a little editing and trying my theory now. I'll let you and everyone else know the results when I get there.

black_death 1 and 2 plus the furnace are in the same year.

I would suggest to space the plague events one per year.

Yes, on the plus side, that would make Black Death even more devastating.

They are being spread out more. Just how is not in sone yet.
