please continue this discussion in VV where it belongs, Dioclea will be made as much historicly accurate as possible to the team and engine limitations

will any player consider that Diocleans were ethnicly Montenegrians, Serbs or Red Croats is subjective...

any further dicussion on this subject should be taken to Vestugia Vetustatis, and I will gladly participate myself...but this thread is about progrees of the A:TW not about ethnicity of population of Kingdom of Dioclea nor the origin of Montenegrian people, or the claims that they are/were this or that...

    thank you

    in my too

anyway Pikacrodux, a man who planned regions, and names for the cities has renamed cities so no longer city34 and such

here is example, if you have criticism about accuracy of any name dont hesitate, tell us
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

also our mod, as it will be rather small mod, concentrating on small area will have rather high level of historical accuracy, for instance south Italy:
most mods make Kingdom of Sicily which controls all south Italy, but this is inaccurate, first of all there wasnt kingdom of Sicily until 1130, and in 1080 there were two Norman states in south Italy
Apulia under Robert Guiscard and Sicily under Roger
and Sicily was completely conquered from Saracens in 1091, which is again something that most od so-called historical mods dont make, but in other hand this mod will do

it is our goal to completely remove vanilla units, accurate names for rulers and cities and so on...

and I added these two pics as a early map preview in first post

So pehaps, once you have finished this version (still a long way away I know), will you then consider extending the map to cover more of the balkans?

    EDIT:

OH and fantastic map Hrobatos, I like the detail especially! +REP

we really need to test battles in those mountains...Croats and Serbs used native hard terrain to defeat invaders...as they were way more prepared for the terrain than Magyars, Byzantines, Bulgars or Venetians.

I would never guess these are Italian troops. They look Rus like so much... I wish your units looked more original as we have too much Rusichi clones everywhere.
