A little off topic but...
Unlike Dubrovnik which was live and kicking all the way till an army of Napoleon's came there and annexed it to the newly established Illyrian Province of that empire.
But that just goes to prove the same point of city states being powerful only as paradigms.
Good luck

@Csatádi, check this, there is a nice disccusion here about Croatian early CoA
Looking good; though I cannot comment on accuracy.
The roman empire didn't use the double-headed eagle before 1200s (I might be wrong on that) and it even bears the emblem of palaiologs dynasty in the middle, that was used after 1261 when empire became ruled by them (I am certain about that).
If I understand right, the mod starts in 1080.
Maybe a labarum or single headed eagle would be more fitting

The Greek book, Istoria tis Ellinikis Simaias, clearly mentions the double headed eagle by used by Kommenos dynasty, its a symbol of fear and superstition in their native Kappadokia. The two heads represent East and West. The Eagle with Porthyr Red background was used in time of war and the Golden background used in time of peace. The Romfaia (sword) and globe were added later. The Palaiogus dynasty added the crown much later .The eagle would of looked like the one on the modern Albanian flag.
i've done research for sicily, apulia, hungary, venice and dioclea. they are quite right. (well for the sicliy and apulia was quite hard, but found some sources)
well, i was saying that too, cause that eagle has Palaiologos' signs. and also byzantine empire didn't use red yellow scheme before palaiologos. i suggest chi-rho, cause it can't be wrong
long time no see, but still twc drug kickin'

You can see the eagle on the puple flag in the video.
It is shaped roughly like the coat of arms of serbia and montenegro only with one head and without coat of arms inside.
