Are the ones with # awaiting a reasoning to accompany them? Or are you speaking in tongues?

Some comments/changes(these are based on your current version, so text you deleted is not included and text you added is; comments are in green):
    • ((In general, I disagree on the switch from 'shall have' to 'has'. The latter sounds like a statement of current and perpetual fact, which is then a bit obtuse since that's untrue as stated in the Preamble. The former doesn't suggest it will always be the case, but instead acts as a mandate that if it is ever not the case it shall be rectified in accordance with the Constitution. Saying it 'shall have' something is saying "unless you modify this, bring whatever the reality is currently in line with it post haste".))

    • [5] ((You don't need to remove the 'of' in that sentence.))

    • [~8] The Branch Chiefs shall lead their branch, and be the principal officer responsible for policy within the three branches their branch.

    • [9] ((Maybe a comment should be made about the 'Advisors' group.))

    • ((We should probably just do away with the names 'Strategos' and 'Tribounos'. In practice we have to clarify their meaning as Senior/Junior if referred to in that way publicly, so it makes the names esoteric and unnecessary. This change would necessitate a more thorough change to those two sections, so I won't comment on those for now.))

    • The Content Branch oversees content produced on the main front page of the site and, the work of the official publications of the Site, and the other entities overseen by Content staff. The Chief of Content has control of all content areas of the site produced or overseen by Content staff. ((Front Page is the common term. Adding 'the site' everywhere is unnecessary, as it's quite implicit. The other content entities cover things like the Scriptorium and the recent expansion to competitions. The last addendum clarifies that the Content branch presides over certain content, not all user-generated content on the site, since each and every post is user-generated content.))

    • Each official publication has an Editor appointed by the Chief of Content. Editors must be Citizens of the Forum. They shall have overall responsibility for running managing their publication and ensuring that content produced for their publication does not breach the Terms of Service.

The Wiki Editor manages the staff who coordinate on the wiki and serves as a wiki bureaucrat. However, content on the wiki is not vetted by the Editor and is open for all to participate in.

The Chief Librarian manages the Scriptorium, including but not limited to article submissions, procedures, documentation, and staff assigned to it.

Other site sponsored, content producing entities may have an Editor or Chief appointed to manage the operations of that entity, who shall serve in a similar function.

((The Wiki and Scriptorium aren't publications, but they are very much part of Content. The Wiki is a bit harder to define since its Editor is not afforded special remit over its content, as it's a user-modified medium. The last part covers things like the Graphics Workshop and the work by Content Artists, as well as the possibility of expansion to some non-yearly site-sponsored competitions. Yes, it's obscure, but the Constitution can't ditch open-ended wording because it manages too many things with individual agendas to always be definite.))

    • ((Not sure what to do about 'Writers' right now. It shouldn't be that though, because only a portion of Content Staff are 'writers'. There's 5-10 Artists and at least that many Librarians, both of which definitely don't fit the term.))

    • The Chief Technician has overall control of all staff within this department. He decides the appropriate access levels for all Staff of this branch and makes final decisions on issues relating to software. A principle concern of the Chief Technician is the security of the site, and as such, he has the right to remove administration and moderation privileges from any member, though it is expected he will consult with the other Hexagon members when doing so.

    • ((The Staff Awards section is unnecessary. The Medals section of the Constitution is self-contained and allows for specific criteria depending on the given medal. This section stipulates nothing not already stated there. Since that section also affords more discretion and this one sets arbitrary time requirements, it's better this one is stricken.))

    [S1] Superfluous
[S2] Grammar: agreement in number (vs. "The three Branch Chiefs . . . shall be the principal officer")
    [S3] Verbose
    [S4] Superfluous
    [S5] Superfluous
[S6] Non-editorial change: In practice, no content staff are charged with interpreting the ToS, and it's moderators and Hex who determine whether content violates the ToS
[S7] Diction: principal means "primary", principle means "rule"

Note that I already did something like this, albeit a bit more extreme, and it failed the vote. Some of this can be submitted to the Curator as minor formative changes, but most of it will need to be voted upon, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if it passed. A remarkable number of Citizens think the Constitution should be hard to read.
