But the pictures folders are a different story! The displayed image may or may not be in the respective factions folder. I can't find the unit card for the Carroccio Standard of Venice to save my life! Neither the images for the Venice militia cavalry. That's what I'm trying say. Just because the description of the unit says "Mounted Sergeant", it doesn't mean the image that is displayed is mounted_sergeant.tga. Or in a couple of cases, the image is located in a totally different folder. The unit card of the german mounted crossbow is actually located in the "Milan" folder.
I just want to make sure I get it right.
But I do like your idea about changing all the event dates to 1. I never thought of that.
That's because those use vanilla icons.

I was going to try FRAPS, but after I was shown how to run MTW2 in a window, I don't really need it.

Yes, only 3 right now. I am working on the Fatamid Caliphate at present.

I do plan on having something similar. I don't know any database programing, so it will be simpler though. Right now, my biggest concern is just getting the unit data up. That alone is going to be a job. Between work and all the honey-dos the wife has it isn't going to happen quickly.

I'm in the Mods/Stainless Steel/data/yada/yada/yada folders. Are there others I don't know about?

Yeah. The ones in the M2TW/data/yada/yada/yada that are used when they are needed and there's no file with the same name in the SS folder.

You'll needto unpack the game for those though, which adds about 8gb more files. Go to M2TW/tools/unpacker

Ok, thanks Axnsan, I'll check that out.

Which unpacker do I run? Will unpack-all do it? And where does the unpacker unpack to?

    M2TW/data

You can unpack it in a different folder though. Just move the tools and packs folders from your M2TW folder to somewhere else, run unpack all and then move them back.

Honey-Do's. You know, when your wife asks you, "Honey, can you do this for me?" or "Honey, can you do that for me?"
Usually involves some sort of housework including manual labor.

Will this unpack the Stainless Steel mod as well?

No because it's not packed in the first place.

Ok, but I did find a few of the images I was looking for in the "non-mod" data folder.
Didn't even think to look there.
    Thanks.

Oh---- where can I find the images for the faction shields? The ones that are the menu to choose the faction to play.
I think this would be perfect for links to the faction pages.

If you could remove the under-scores from the text that pops up when you mouse over an object, that'd be nice.

    Hey.....................
    Real Quick----
How does the opening page look? I checked it out last night at work and it looked pretty funky. I was using Explorer 7.
It could have just been something at work, but if something's not right, I need to fix it.

Thank god for submissive women, where a sandwich is no more than a pleasant smile and a 'good girl' away.
