Holy Christ, those are amazing! 'Tis a shame that they are units and not just retextures, I don't think the mod would get along that well with IS. :/ But the work is absolutely beautiful, regardless!

Thanks, tried to keep it as historical as possible. The uniforms are from 1757

As wanrin stated before, the creator of the mod hasen't been online for a while so we can't ask him for promission but hopefully he will return.

1756, actually it is very much true to history!
Finally, someone gets it right and designs the Life Guards' uniforms to be nigh identical to the regular soldiers, almost always they give the regulars uniforms from 1756 and give the Life Guards uniforms from 1779, it's just plain wrong. x)
    But you've nailed it!

Joedreck may simply be too busy IRL to spare time to come here. Let's all hope he's doing ok.

    Joedreck, please come back!

@ Geronimo2006: The download-link is in the first post of this thread, if I'm not mistaken. Click on the "DOWNLOADLINK" below "The Seven Years War beta 5.0" - his French models (he had grenadiers, line and the Swiss Guard, if I remember correctly) are included in this. Don't go for the Sponge mod download-link.

ACMilan88, these Swedish regiments are made very in a fantastic way! Excuse, I haven't understood who their author (in beta 5.0 they aren't present), but it is the first really worthy work on Swedes which I saw. This package for Scandinavians should be let out necessarily!

Hi. Thanks for your feedback These units are reskins of the swedish units in spongemod, it's my own personal modification. I have not created a separate mod because joedreck hasn't been online for a long time so i can't ask him for premission to use his models. There are other modders who have done units with these models and they are in the same situation.

If i get green light from him i'll release a separate pack

    Cheers

Thanks for the answer. A situation however. At all respect to joedreck two months it is the maximum term to the author if he doesn't respond - such behavior is perceived as indifference to a mod (at us at least) and consequently everyone has the right to continue this work. I am surprised to your patience .

I hope you dare to let out separate mod .Good luck!

Hi to all, I've juste proceed to register but I'm not new on the forum. Actually I followed the progression of this mod quite since the beginning. You should have a look at the Pom's incredible mods (German States, but mainly Brit, Italian States and now Spain mods). I don't know if Prussia or France are his next targets for now but it would be a great contribution too add prussian units of Joedreck (they are so handsome indeed), if he would agree, to a Prussia Mod. The point of Pom's mod is that they are perfectly compatible with Darthmod and the whole game (no problems with units names or descriptions and awesome unit cards).

I really think there is an enormous potential into such a team work.
