I am currently playing a Saxony campaign and noticed that I am getting only 40% of my income. For example, one turn I was suppose to receive 6,355 in income, but actually received only 2,769. I did not receive any notice that trade routes were raided, nor were any of my trade partners ports blocked. The same thing happened in my Italian States campaign. Is there a fix?

My Empire Total Factions has suddenly stopped working. Every time I try to start a campaign it crashes and it was working find not too long ago. I was playing Scotland and having a good time, but now I cant even load that save or start a new campaign even not as an emergent faction. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you:

Always start Steam manually and then start ETF using the desktop shortcut.

If you miss that and receive a CTD, reboot before trying again.

hi i was really looking forward to playing this mod but i have problems. i ahve installed into empire directory but when i play it load fine but when i try to do empire total factions campaign it crashes.. can anyone help? ive tried re-installing and i turned off uac.. anyting else i should do? thanks

I have problem launching any late campaign, start screen shows up and then nothing happens.
Early works fine but when i close empire, etf doesnt close it self so i have to do it manually.

Yeah... I do not like Greece ! If you do then you can play ith the special mod I have made for them.

where is this special mod? and why not just include them?

(I'd kinda try remaking the Byzantine Empire. just for the hell of it)

EDIT: Okay, I found your Greek Mod. I've lost the initial urge to play ETW at the moment, so I'll wait installing it 'till you reply. Cos' I'd like to know: can I have both Empire Total Factions and your Greece Mod installed at the same time? (and how do I go about this?)

All my mods can be installed because they are active only when you use them. When you close them your game's installation returns always in vanilla status.

I have a slight problem, you see whenever I click on any campaign in ETF start menu it says: "Windows cannot find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\Empire.exe" which doesn't make sense as that is the path I installed it to with the installer. It does this for every option. I followed all your instructions. Unless maybe I'm misunderstanding starting steam manually.

aybe you have installed ETF in the default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\ but have you installed the game there as well? I presume not. So uninstall ETF and install it wherever is your ...\empire total war folder (redirect the installer in installation path screen).

I am reading through the thread to see if I can find the answer but I'll ask here too.

Can I use this mod to play campaign multiplayer against my brother? I used to do this a couple of years back with your old startpos mod (manually editing your startpos .esf file (if I remember correctly) to change which factions I wanted to play as. Because if I didn't do this then the list of playable factions on the multiplayer campaign screen would go off the screen.

I just installed this tonight and can't get it to launch when I choose my nation from the factions menu. It quickly flashes a pop-up from steam saying Empire Total War is launching.... but then nothing happens, like the game can't start.

Any ideas?

The only other mod I have installed is ACW.

FYI, I was able to fix my issue. ACW has the option to enable ACW or enable Vanilla ready from their launcher. If you want to run ETF, be sure that ACW is set to Vanilla Ready.

The mod worked for me, but when I went to play multiplayer campaign with someone it wouldnt work anymore. So I tried to get back on regular Empire and it wouldnt work either.... Im new to this mod and such so if anyone has a clue how to fix that please let me know.

Very nice mod indeed! But where is a pity, that you don't add Greece. I know there is a special mod for Greece, but I want to play on default settings for this country (without special units, buildings, etc.). Hope that maybe, sometimes, you will add a default Greece or just explain how to add it to your mod by myself. Thanks for your advices and mod.

This is an awesome mod, and I'm glad I got it. I do have a problem though. When I first started using this mod everything worked fine, but now if I play as an emergent faction I can't produce religious buildings and when I build forts I'm unable to upgrade them into star forts and such. Help?
