Hello! I just found this mod a few days ago and as a fan of gunpowder warfare I really like it! I started with Portugal and its units are quite strong. Although the Spanish AI tends to prefer more cold steel troops - I fought with an army composed of only tercio pikemen and sword-and-buckler men.

Anyway, I don't have my units lighten up when I select them. I tried the solution for this problem from the original mod

Try this...
1.Make sure that the Renaissance.cfg file is not read-only.
2.Open this file in any text editor.
3.Delete everyting from the file, EXCEPT the lines I name here.

file_first = true

[log]
to = logs/system.log.txt level = * trace level = * error

[features]
mod = Renaissance
4.Now save the file.
Try playing M2TW now.

But this did't help me either although instead of "Renaissance" I wrote "OwnRen42010" in the mod line. I have v. 1.2, may be that's the reason? I read that the original mod is form 1.1 or 1.3 but this enhanced version works fine for me - no crashes, no glitches.

Any ideas on this?

ok, got it......but no portugal nor the other countries in the ui folder, only saxons ....?
