I posed a question in the CdeC Election debate thread. I am not going to single out any candidate, but the answers are disturbing. It seems that the candidates will tolerate up to 4 or 5 missed votes. I also know real life comes first. But councilors know when votes are coming up. Councilors can also log in for a quick check without staying for hours on other activities. If you want the job and you are going to miss 4 or 5 votes, I would suggest you rethink your priorities. Remember the ruckus that occured on a single failed nomination. That was one vote.

I mentioned the numbers 4 or 5 but I didn't say I would tolerate it. I said that if a member anticipated that this would be the number of votes they would miss then they should just resign before doing so.

I do agree that you should know whether you have the time to or not before running for it, though i didn't say it's ok to miss 4-5 votes, i said one or two times isn't world's end but should definitly not happen again then during that period...

Of course it shouldn't happen to often as they should know whether they have the time to do this job or not before they run for it...

If it happens once that they miss it without announcing their absence then it's no big deal, too, not very good, but still ok, shouldn't happen a second time during their period, though...

Best of luck to all the candidates in the current CdeC elections. May your enthusiasm and wisdom enrich the Board and better
enable it to serve TWC and it's members.
