    Will siege battles have classical buildings or medieval ? Has the PI team figured out a way to have custom battle maps used on the campaign?

    To fix that we theorically have to change the skin of buildings. Imagine Byzantine vanilla houses but painted white with red plaster stripe

    I think in the initial version we'll have the vanilla at first, but shortly after reskin all the buildings to be appropriate for the Classical era. Besides, there's work being done by two separate modders in the Med2 community on scripts to bring building editing to a simple and modifiable state, so I wouldn't worry about buildings in the long run.

    Is it right that in MedII you can change the buildings but not the position of the buildings?

    Not exactly. As of recently you could not change the models, only textures, but people are working on even that. One could always change the textures.

    Thats what I thought. I was reading the historical settlement project for DOTS and thats what initially brought this question up. They made some pretty cool settlements that cant be used in the campaign mode unfortunately
