Yeah, now Madrid have a galactic team, a galactic coach, a galactic president ... and a galactic debt.
Good luck next year, I hope you see half a decent football match (remember Barcelona-Inter, that is the type of football that is coming your way ... Inter's that is)
So inter didnt deserve it?? Inter plays bad football? inter didnt play nice? inter played like a team, that is it... you sound like you are jealous of Mourinho been the coach on Madrid...
My point exactly, shall i explain more slow?? i think he will bring balance to that superstar team, that thinks its great, and needs some humility. feet on the ground. i think Jose is perferct for that.
you dont know what pragmatism is? Real its a team that need stop fooling arround with the ball, and start to do something with it.
IMO no, they did not deserve to qualify (but I base this response on the beauty of the play, you see, the same way that Switzerland did not deserve to beat Spain, again IMO). Based on the results, I guess so.

Sorry, I missed that you are a Madrid supporter in my previous discussion. Jealous that Mourinho is going to coach Madrid? Hell, no. FYI, I do not support Barcelona, I just like the way they play. I just praised Guardiola because of the play style he has "imposed" on his team. Personally, I don't like him that match, playing the nice boy when everything goes his way, and them being Mr. Hide when they don't.

Yes, Mourinho will give balance to the team. For starters, his ego is larger than that of all the players combined (surprisingly enough, I do not mind that, he has earn that right). As for play style, all players on your side of the pitch, and let's hope we get a fast break at some point and score a goal to win the match. Do you really think one of Mourinho's team is going to want to get the ball? Not even Chelsea played that way despite being far superior to their competition in the Premier.

Real Madrid lost two legends. I get pissed every-time when i think of the galatico players, it reminds me of Guti's unused talents

If Mascherano leaves Liverpool DO need a player like Guti, even at his age he's quite good

Mascherano and Guti are not quite the same.

One is defensive midfield, one is attacking. So far from ideal replacement.

I am ing sad about this. This is not Real anymore. End of the chapter.

Well, they've a new manager, new tactics might follow. So Guti might be the ideal replacement

Yea should they use Guti as a playmaker.

    Thats his spot.

Well Besiktas is not bad and he is getting old. Sadly.

Gerrard plays DCM and Guti plays CAM, simple

And yes, this is a new Real
I liked the Beckham/Ronaldo/R.Carlos/Casillas/Zidane/Guti etc Real, but this Real is TOTALLY different
Casillas is the only classic Real player left

He hasn't played regularly for years. Probably nobody believed he can make a full season. Or, well, I dunno, maybe people just forgot about him. =/

Gerrard is better off attacking than defending.

So is Ballack, but he plays where he is needed
Liverpool REALLY need a ball winner in midfield like Juventus need as well.
If Mascherano leaves the problem will be even bigger

2 words appear in my mind : Bastian Schweinsteiger(even though I REALLY want him to stay in Germany)

    Or Diego Perez from Monaco?

When talking about ball winning he is very impressive.

Or Momo Sissoko... Ah, those legs seem to go on forever.

    (that sounded quite homo, unintended)

Edit: Glad we weren't interested in Guti. Never liked that guy. He's loyal that's the only thing I like about him.

Guti can be a bit of a whiner sometimes. Otherwise I very much like him.

But Raúl... guy's a legend. And now gone from Real. Sadface.

I have lots of respect for Raul. Atletico must feel like true idiots for letting him slip after all he did at Real.

Do not forget Figo... at that time there was no beckham, i prefer the time before beckham...
well it is a normal refresh of a team. every team has it, along the way. For what is worthy they were in need. Sometimes that is necessary to build up again. To let new legends to take form, and place.
