He'd be better off joining Chelsea to replace Ballack or Man Utd. to replace Giggs...and I don't really like English teams that much to be honest
I don't want to replace them obviously but they can't play every single match of the season and they might get injured... I'm only saying barça needs more players and Guardiola doesn't know what to do. I personally would trust young Barça players instead of signing in anyone else. Read my post carefully.

Ha! Carvalho... this will be a fun season.

But then he would still leave
Özil almost didn't miss a match of Werder's last two seasons, and then you will get Guardiola benching him

15 million euros I think the deal is worth. Good piece of business by Mourinho. Still need another defender.

Son, be glad Werder got something, he could have just left for nothing next year.

Won't justify losing two icons and receiving one dickhead.

    Kid has talent though.

I amn't up to scratch with European transfers, someone give me a good website, cause most are fairly terrible. Also, I know it is the wrong league, but Bruno Alves has gone to Russia, what is going on!?

Inter were willing to pay €30 Million
So Milner is worth €15M + Stephen Ireland and Özil is just worth €15M at max?
    I don't get it

Well the man has a point. How much do you think Steve McManaman was worth back in the day? Yet we recieved zero, zip, zilch.

The difference is that Ozil's contract would have expired in 1 year, therefore he would have left for free, something he said he intended to do.
So, Werder had only 2 choices, keep him 1 year and then losing him for nothing, or getting the highest possible. Real knew that, and kept the offer as low as possible.

Werder could've sold him in the January transfer window, and used him for the CL
Everyone would try to grab him while they could before he would become a free agent and(obviously) sign for Real M. or Barca

He should have gone to a better League, replace Carvalho in Chelsea, for example.
But it´s interesting to see how a 28 year-old defender gets €22M for his transfer and this attacking midfielder wonderkid only €15M...

    Yep
And Milner is worth about €30M, and C.Ronaldo €90M, and Rooney €60M...while a guy who basically was the reason why Germany got to the Semi Finals in the WC is worth just €15M. What did the others do again?
