I support the buildings from Ludicus, of course.

What about colonial prestige buildings? In Goa, Brazil?
Hmm Goa would fit just perfectly, Brazil although fitting just as good, since it's not ingame and has no settlement on where to build anything kinda makes it akward to have Brazilian specific buildings in Portugal.
Unless you where speaking about some buildings in portuguese soil that where directly involved with Brazil in terms of trade, diplomacy, military
At the moment that is not possible. unless Goa was a Protectorate and I am not sure if making them one is possible. As far as I can see, one way of inserting colonial buildings would be to give Prestige buildings for New Spain, New France etc. But Portugal doesn't have Protectorate factions.
V1.7 will feature more late line-infantry variants based on the book "300 Anos de Uniformes Militares do Exercito de Portugal" by Manuel Ribeiro Rodrigues. I will also add 2 more Prestige Buildings - though I haven't decided yet what they will be. Feel free with your suggestions. NB Must have been constructed in the 1700s.

I give up with my bullrings.
Asked Ludicus if he could help me but he couldn't find pictures or paintings of the 18th century, too.
Here is a translated text passage that there were bullrings and bullfights in this time period in Portugal, just no pictures for us...
But enough of the eighteenth century - and with it a new conception of public performances. To accommodate an audience gradually more demanding, rise plazas de toros in Junqueira in 1738 in Largo da Announced in 1739, at Campo Pequeno in 1740, and the Star in 1763. The latter, located at Casal da Estrela, a Lisbon suburb where there were gardens, it was one of the most remarkable. The square shape was octagonal and was adorned with statues.
Believing in a decree of May 18, 1763, the square of the Star was built to the application of the Monastery of St. Clare Sacavém to perform a series of six performances bullfighting, enabling them to finish the chapel of the convent. These shows there is no news. There are, instead, a race held there, also in 1763, organized by Francisco de Matos Pereira Souto, created the Prince Peter, described in "New relationships and real news in the public, the magnificent and showy festivities bulls that they will celebrate the site of the couple's Star ...».

Is it possible to include the Aqueduto das Águas Livres as a civil prestige building? a building to raise happiness of your citizens and make your prestige level much higher?

Thank you Ludicus. Glad to see the forum is back up. Why was it down?
That's a very interesting building, though I can't find any models that look like it.
I've located the location of the game's building models for the campaign-map. I know that Danova was able to make custom-models for units in his Ornamentum mods. So if it can be done for units I wonder can it be used for buildings? Does anyone know how to open the building models (rigid_model format)? I can't open it in Photoshop. I think you could have the Arsenal building if you oput the Arc de Triomph/Teyler Museum in the middle of the facade of a long building and pasted columns onto it.
I considered the aquaduct for a Cultural building Ludicus but that is now filled with the Biblioteca Joanina because the Teyler Museum is similar in appearance. None of the existing builduings look like the former.

Hi new around here, i was looking for a good major mod that had new units for the Portuguese faction, although Darthmod is great, i was sad to see it had the same vanila units, all others have loads of new units, Portugal got the vanila ones lol.
anyway, i found this mod and wen i saw it was compatible with darthmode i downloaded it and used in the script, all good, the units are there and the 2 prestige buildings are also there but 15 of the new units are without names and description and also the admirality building (i think its the correct name) is also without name and description. I can play of course but its not the same. Any ideias??
Download names/descriptions from OP here. It has names/descriptions up to UPC 5.7 plus this mod's ones. Remember: only have one names/descriptions file in your Data folder or else some names/descriptions don't show up.
Ludicus, do you have any pictures of the Academia Real de Artilharia, Fortificação e Desenho? I mean the one in Lisbon - not Brazil (z Brazilian academy of the same name was established in Rio de Janeiro in 1792).

Alright thanks Geronimo, do i also have to add this line to the script?
Edit: nvm, i just need to put the file in the data folder, all the names and descriptions show now, great many thanks
Just one question though and i think this i will notice in game but it wont hurt if i ask, will your units be balanced in the darthmode?

If you mean the text file then no. If you mean the name of the mod, i.e. mod portugalaprilearly.pack or mod portugalaprillate.pack (I think) - then you either add the name of which of the two you want to use, or else just select it in Modmanager. Modmanager makes editing the script file unnecessary.
If you are editing the script file just put the same prefix i.e. "mod" before the name of the mod as exists for all the others, including the semi-colon. Do you not use Modmanager? The names/descriptions issue has nothing to do with scripts.
If you edit scripts the wrong way you can get crashes on startup.

No, i dont use modmanager, because i just wanted one major mod installed, darthmode have a simple setup install which is great, there are other mods like that but after alot of research about the best mods for Empire i choose this one. I did like you said i edited the script with "mod portugalaprilearly.pack" and put the names/descriptions from your link in the data folder and voila, all good, still dont know if that changed the descriptions of other nations units though, will check.
Just to clarify: my text link that you downloaded is a pack file, correct? I'm using it and I don't have any problems.
You're not using the Titulae mod are you? I stopped using it because Modmanager said it was conflicting with my text file and when I stopped using it the names/descriptions came back (that was before this mod). You should use Modmanager because then you can pick and choose which mods you want on and which you don't - even if you only want to run one mod.

No, not using Titulae mod, only yours and Darthmod, and everything got ok wen i downloaded your text link.
All's well that ends well.
BTW, MRR sent me some info on the Academia Real de Artilharia, Fortificação e Desenho with pics:First location: 1790 Army Arsenal (now the Military Museum) in Santa Apolonia, photos A and Bmoved in 1797 to the Palace of Calhariz in Calhariz, photo CSpoiler Alert, click show to read:
