I've uploaded an updated version today which fixes a minor texture problem with one of the naval-battle officers. The next thing I'm going to work on is option patches to change the Portuguese battle flag to some of the ones believed to have been used in the Seven Years War:Wip below:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Hello
Geronimo
I have dloaded the Portugallate.pack and have placed it in my Data folder. I have tried editing my UC Scripts and my Custom Campaign script my adding: mod_DMUC Portugallate.pack at the top, at the bottom, and different places in the middle of the script lists.
I am new to all of this and really have no clue what I'm doing.
I'm running DMUC 6.2 and really want the Portugal units for the Custom Campaign.
Any help on what I'm doing wrong would be great.
Also, will the Portugal units be available in DMUC 6.35?
Hi pearse16. You can either play the mod in Modmanager separately or play it when it comes out in the next version of "The American Revolution" mod. I recommend you download Modmanager and then select the mod (the early or the late version - you can't run both at once). It is very stable in the TAR Beta I have been testing today so if you have any stability issues i.e. crashes then I recommend you download the TAR 2.0 (not 1.8.1) Public Beta which may be released in the next few days if no major problems are found. I played it today and reached around 1748 before I had a crash, which isn't bad at all for ETW.
BTW, you are using an outdated version of the mod. The most recent downloads are Portugalearly and Portugallate. I never said this mod was compatible or not compatible with DMUC. To my knowledge it isn't part of the mod yet, though hammeredalways has been in contact with me about including it.

Thanks so much for getting back to me right away. I really appreciate it.
Wow, I must be really new to all of this, as I was trying to add the units to DMUC and not the regular ETW Vanilla.
Thanks again for clarifying! I hope to see some Portugal units in DMUC 6.35 as I'd love to build a new empire!
Pearse16 you can play as Portugal with my units by downloading and installing the TAR 2.0 Beta here (including all the hotfixes), then selecting "TAR campaigns", the selecting "13 colonies campaign".

Excellent! Thanks for sending that - am I right in thinking that I can't have DMUC and TAR in the Data folder? Do I need to remove DMUC?
One more - are the Portugal units available in the Empire Campaign through TAR?

I'm working on more units and will bring them out in the New Year.
This mod is now incorporated into "The American Revolution" mod.

Gerónimo, I started playing ETW a few days ago (my old pc wasn't fit for a good perfomance so I didn't even try) and, being portuguese, one of the first things I did was to look for a way do play as Portugal. I found it and I was very, very dissapointed... and immediately started looking for some good "Portuguese mod". And now I found it.
I'm a veteran on Total War games, and I gotta say I was very impressed with your mod. Trully a great piece of work, with lots of research done, congratulations.
I do have a few remarks and questions though:
I read above you're not portuguese, but it seems like you do speak portuguese. However, some of the unit names I saw on the SS's you posted since you first created this thread have some errors. If you need some help with portuguese don't hesitate and tell my how I can help. Same with research or any kind of information you need.
The mod is now incorporated in "The American Revolution" mod, right? Is that the only way we can play yours?
Although I saw a some posts about famous portuguese monuments I didn't understand if you're planning to add them as buildings in the game (as universities, etc). Are you?
Thank you neo deus. This mod is part of the TAR public-beta downloadable on the TAR section of the site. On the Prestige Buildings they are already in this mod and models representing them appear on the campaign-map when constructed. It's been a while since I updated this thread, but I'm still making adding some units from 1764. If you feel some of the Portuguese words arent correct then send me a PM and it can be sorted out, though you should download the latest UPC mod to ensure you have updated names/descriptions.
You can play as Portugal and as an Absolute Monarchy in the TAR mod by choosing the 'TAR Campaigns' and then '13 Colonies Campaign'.
