I've grown annoyed at CA's 1812-era hats when the start date is 1805, this mod aims to completely bring all factions' headwear to 1805 standards.

And now video made by the extremely talented God of Trailers TheNanny.

The mod is a PATCH, meaning you don't need a script or mod manager to activate. Just unzip, slip in your data folder and play.

This mod is even featured in ToonTotalWar's all-in-one mod and Europe in Conflict.

For those looking for France, Italian Kingdom, Prussia and the Russian pure version, I was running out of attachments, so see my next post down. For those looking for the Prussian DLC fix, it has been integegrated into Prussia v2.

Note that the screenshots are below are of all the units in the latest version, so version 1 of Austrian will not have jaegers and proper grenzer hats, and version 1 of the British have British foot with both the line infantry and light infantry stovepipe, which was fixed to only the line infantry in version 2.

I have just tried it in a custom battle and it works perfectly, even with the AUM mod, very good show!

The only thing i would change to this already perfect mod, is that the unit cards still reflect what the German and Hungarian line looked like previously, it would be nice, only aesthetically, if they were changed also.

The shakos were bothering me, and I've seen sources of French troops with bicornes in 1805, so enjoy!

I don't know how to make the British Foot wear only one hat.

Does anyone out there know how to make them wear just the line infantry shako?

It's great to have the earlier stovepipe shako (thanks for that!), but it's a bit weird looking to have the light infantry shako mixed in there...

Emperorbatman could you change the Austrian file so that the Grenzers don't have those helmets? The Jaegers on the other hand did wear them (but personally I prefer them with the korsehut)
