    Is there a way to get this to work for Darth Mod? First I would need to disable the 3 rank fire by rank that has been added into the mod before I tried to do this and am not sure how to do so. Also, wouldn't adding skirmishing behavior in unit_stats_lands just make all ranks fire rather than just two?

    Here is sime information. And what about rank fire: unit_class_to_unit_ability_junctions_tables
    and delete the lines with it.

    Also, wouldn't adding skirmishing behavior in unit_stats_lands just make all ranks fire rather than just two?

    It would! You have to edit units formations (make them tighter) It requires a lot of time as you have to edit each unit manually!

    I tried downloading this, but the links aren't there anymore. Keeps taking me to a 'clear.gif' page. AKA an 'attatched document' page that's blank. This is for all links. If anyone has this mod somewhere on their computer (For vanilla units) could you please upload it somewhere?It would be appreciated greatly, thanks!

    Use the PFM and follow the advice in Alexzav's post. This is what is contained in Zero's musketry mod.

    Does this mod make the infantry fire like that 'kneel fire' ability in Shogun II, where first rank kneels and both first and second ranks fire together?

    It's been a long time since no one try to revive this mod. I try to make this file from the tutorial.

    My edition:
    Unit Spacing (for line infantry and alikes): 0.6
    Ammo count: 30-40 (change to 20 if you want)
    Skirmish: Enable

    The only problem is unit accuracy is too high, so, you would want to bring it down like Darth mod to keep the fight longer. Higher accuracy make skirmished unit end battle in 4-6 volleys. Unit accuracy is useless when enemies got hit can be replace and headshot you back right away.
    I simply borrow AUM packfile and add existing unit into the table. Somehow, I can't make new pack files to work anymore, so, for now, I will have to rely on existing mods out there.

    Conclusion: Skirmish enable + spacing do make your troops sit tigher to reduce the chance back row to fire. Normally, you only get 1st and 2nd row open fire and some in 3rd or 4rd row to shoot occasionlly. By reducing British Foot accuracy and reload rate to 1/2 (25/30) and French Fulisier (20/22) the battle will now last for 12-15 volleys. This is why you need 40 ammo to keep the fight longer without turning everyone into melee after 10 volleys like vanila.
