Default sorry for another silly question...

    Hi there.

After three days of sucessless trys to get this running on steam i give up.

I ve played this mod a couple of months ago before my pc crashed and i did the mistake to install my TW-series on steam, and i would love to do it again.

Is someone so kind an lend me a hand?
I am able to get every Mod on kingdoms running (after hours...and hours... of searching in the forum and reinstalling after mess everything up...) but i miss something at this one.

I think its only a detail i oversee, some cfg i got to alter or something, but i searched this forums as well as the ones in my native language for hours the last days and i simply dont get it.

    regards
    Wolf

    Ok, another try...

Doing like i should do to get it run, changing the start-options on steam to @HundredYearWar_0.9.cfg still dont work.
    It just starts the vanilla.
When i try do to it the kingdom-way, rename it to f.a.e. in teutonic and try to start it, i get it to the loading screen and crushes (no wonder for its not for kingdoms, but i am desperate -_-).
@mods\HundredYearWar_0.9\HundredYearWar_0.9.cfg also dont works (no wonder again, its a command for kingdoms as well...).

Anyone got this running on steam?Any clue?

I reinstall the mod as well as the my hole Medieval and Kingdoms two times (very funny download it everytime on ing steam, doesnt help anyway.

Aye, this mod is not for Kingdoms but for MTW2 Vanilla. You can't run it as a Kingdoms mod.

    Yep, i know.
To try it the kingdom-ways was just caused out of desperation after i didnt get it running.
It is the first time i dont get a mod running, but anyway, seems i have to buy medieval once more as
    harddisc.
The mod is worth the 10 bucks.

    Thread can be closed.

    Thank you for the replys.

Copy the mod folder to /medievalII/mods, place the cfg and .bat file in it.
    Open the cfg:
    [features]
    mod = mods/*modname*

double click on the .bat, and it should start, unless im totally mistaken now. I never play mods made on plain vanilla.

If you use a shortcut to start up, you should right click, and change those 2 lines. I can't recall the names in english right now.

Trying a mod for kingdoms to work on vanilla, won't work.

I'm very sorry to say this, but you're totally mistaken Glowbal. I followed your instructions precisely step by step but it still didn't work. Now, instead of "Please insert the correct DVD_ROM" it informs me that "MTW2 encounters a fatal mistake has to shut down" (kind of means like that). Can you illustrate how to fix this bug a little more specifically ? I'm dying to play this mod right now ! ! !

I get the "Unspecified error" and crash instead. . .
