What's the difference between a Judge and a Magistrate here in the Tribunal?

Judges serve permanent terms and weigh in on every case; Magistrates are elected by the Curia and rotate for each case, and serve 3 month terms.

Basically the Tribunes are in charge and the Magistrates are Tribune Juniors.

Judges also ask for the Contempt of Court infraction and can fire Magistrates at will if we both agree.

Tribunes are appointed by Hex. Magistrates are voted in by the Curia.

Tribunes have a special forum where they let it all hang out. Magistrates have to scrub the Judicial toilets before they can leave the building. Tribunes can wear the wig & gown/suspender combo at the weekend. Magistrates need special dispensation before they can wear the Old Bailey push-up bra. Nuff said.

Oh and another difference is the Tribunes's names are black and Magistrates's names are the same color as regular members

Tribunes typically have longer....tenure of office...than magistrates.
