    Default The Tomb of Constantine the Great

    'Oh noble Romans, bear witness to the triumph of Rome and the glory of a man destined to crush the barbarians under his mighty heel'

    There is a tomb in a museum in Rome that has been described as the tomb of Helena, the mother of Constantine the Great. However, on examining the tomb I am prepared to state, as has one historian recently in a new biography on Constantine, that this tomb is in fact one that was originally destined to hold the body of Constantine rather than Helena.

    very nice find.. it even shows the romans in correct armor..wow
