Ah, so the insults begin already do they Pannonian? "Self-righteous victim for eternity". For what? Inviting any concerned staff to ask me questions? Like I said, you only have yourself for blame for the attitudes that you came up against as a moderator.

Lets get back on topic rather than having a thread all about Pannonian again.

"No man is an Island, intire of it selfe; every man is a peece of the Continent, a part of the maine; if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea, Europe is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie were, as well as if a Mannor of thy friends or of thine owne were; any mans death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankinde; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee."

I've used it a couple times to link to videos that contain incidental swearing, I believe, or something of that nature. Pontifex correctly noted in the original thread that some manner of war imagery, while potentially grotesque, is acceptable in some context and common courtesy is to warn passers by if they're light of stomach. The spoiler is more of a courtesy than it is a carte blanche to post something which would otherwise be disallowed in-line. But use case scenarios suggest it has not served that utility, so the simple solution then is to remove it, I don't think any discussion need be had on that.

Oh this Ferrets chap is just another Rapscallion who skirts the boundaries of what is and isn't allowed, nothing much wrong with "experimentation" really, the chap seems to be a veritable expert at this, the produce of rambunctiousness rather than anything malicious I would say and indicative of dissafected, youthful, exuberance, I would say!
People must push the boundaries now and then, otherwise "stagnation" and "apathy" sets in, however the Christ poem left a lot to be desired in my opinion, well submitted on this site anyway, but as has been proven it was a famous and valid work and thus allowed (with the graphical content spoiler) if this means works like this will no longer be allowed on this site which is for younger members that may read such things, then removing the graphical content spoiler may be the only way to ensure that I imagine.
Be that as it may, if it is removed then what other recourse does a member have to ensure that if a risque picture or article is submitted that they wont be infractioned for it? does this mean we can submit a picture or article that may be considered "offensive" by some members but just write some sort of warning first? what will be the" new" method employed if this Graphical content spoiler is removed? Or is this merely for cases such as Ferrets?

Pannonian has it ever struck you that responding to Ferrets or me is giving us what we want?

Also if anyone casts themselfs as "self-righteous victim" it's Mod branch.

On-topic:Wasn't the GC spoiler added as a response to gay zombie Jesus?
