Artillery special abilities

I was just wondering what the different special abilities for the artillery (like the focused fire for howitzers) do exactly, and also how some of you guys like to use them. =)

Focused fire increases accuracy.

Barrage increases reload speed.

Focused fire: on high value targets like enemy artillery, elite infantry, sharp shooters, general
Barrage: on canister shots against enemy infantry charges

i only use the fucused fire to kill enemy atrillery or if they have none there gen . But thats only due to the fact you can only use it 3 times

Anyone knows the duration of the skills? or does it only count for like... 1 reload? because other than the description there isn't a whole lot of detail to be found... :s (I use them even so)
