Rum refers to the geographical area.

It has the same meaning as Anatolian Seljuqs.

But if you saw the map at first page, they are listed as "Turkish Sultanate" there.

Rum is an arabic name for ROME ( Roman Empire)
becouse of Byzantine(Eastern Roman Empire) anatolia was Rome for Arabs, so the Arabian Scholars/Historians marked West Seljuks as a "Seljuks of Rum"..
As for "Turkish Sultanate" this is very bad, name becouse it is confusing...
There was never a State called Turkish sultanate, b ut becouse of Turkish - you understand that it is in Anatolia, Sultanat - means the Ruller had a title of Sultan... and nothing more...
with other words Turkish Sultanat - can be Seljuks of Rum and Osman Empire, this is confusing...
thats why we decided to use the correct name: Seljuks of Rum

Seljuks of Rūm would be the most appropriate (and also the contemporary) term. Not "Turkish Sultanate"...

Fantastic map, can you stretch it just a bit to the west to include Balkans and Hungary so one can do the complete Mongol campaign (as Mongols came to Liegnitz and Mohach ) ...

We're using the full 199 provinces. The Balkans are not a priority at all--other mods do good enough job of that.

My English is not good but I would like to write something about that:
First Anatolian Seljuks or Anatolian Turks were not Arabs so how can you prefer this Arabic name?
Second I think Turkish players (who live in Turkey) will not like this half Hellenic half Arabic name cause they are Turks not Hellens or Arabs.
And I think Anatolian Seljuks would be better prefer for a name (if you need a name).

I do understand, but this great mod is covering area that allows to play almost full range of both Mongol invasion west of China (Batu khan - Battle of Mohach) and Ottoman conquest and fall of Konstantinople and Balkans afterwards ... (almost up to Battle for Vienna).

May I humbly recomend a Late Era campaign in this Mod including these factions I desire and I believe many players share my point of view.

Its not a big deal - turkey was home home to many cultures before - you had Greeks, Arabs, Persians and meny others - Seljuks of Rum simple means - The Seljukes Conquered and inhabited this Land that belonged to the Eastren Roman Empire - and I dont think that Turk players would want Istanpul to be changed back to Costantinople when they visit it
today the inhabitents of turkey them selves are not pure turks but rather a nation of Turk,Greek,Arab,Persian,Slav,Albanian,Latin............etc.

forgive me I if I might sound hard, but it is not about what Turks want to see...
Seljuks never called theself as Seljuks of Anatolia or Turkish Sultanat, they called them self just Seljuks...
Most of the information we do have about them is from arabic Scholars, they called them Seljuks of RUM, to provide difference between them and the Great Seljuks...
You cannot call A State that Existed with the names you simply WANT....
