This is looking quite nice. Any reason why all the faction symbols are kept in a brown hue as well? A light touch of color would be nice (not too bright, mind you).

I am missing some contrast. I am wearing glasses and it gives me the impression as if I had a slight film over them. The contrast will assist in faster realizing where buttons\infos are. It is the 'crispiness' that is lacking I think.
