the minds behind this mod keep to amaze everyone around here
simply spectacular work, when u think this can't get better, it does!!
amazing, really amazing
I think it would be even more variating to have a core set of units all across your empire and then local AOR units to spice up your roster, and admit that it sounds logical: in the north Elves and Dwarves support your Gondorian forces, in the Shire you can call upon detachments of Hobbit archers and in the south, well you'll have none cause as a "good" faction you sure as hell can't call upon evil allies. Just thinking out loud herePerhaps it is an idea for a submod.

Therefore One hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the most skillful. Seizing the enemy without fighting is the most skillful. War is of vital importance to the state and should not be engaged carelessly... - Sun Tzu
Orochimaru & Aizen you must Die!! Bankai Dattebayo!!
To some degree they did that in LOTR Total War, didn't they? I like the idea to some degree, but if you overdo it you have the risk of ending up with every faction effectively having the same roster - or rather having just two faction rosters, good and evil.
Well of course you'd never be able to recruit one and anothers best core units. Although to an extend, wouldn't it be a cool feature if you could recall upon elite units from other factions, like scripted, say that from time to time you'd get an event saying that for example 3 Eldar Archers offer your services to you? Dunnoh. Would be cool to actually have humans and elves fighting alongside each other once in a while![]()

so if you ally with mordor and you lets say the elves, and it says "a group of uruks would like to fight for you" wouldnt it be strange cuz didnt souron torture elves to create uruks and orcs hmmmm
hmm i just thought of somthing..... wouldnt these make eirodior/arnor THE strongest faction here, and i still dont understand the recruiting part, will somone please explain to me
i doubt it will become the strongest faction... i don't know the exact process of turning eriador into arnor, but i heard its VERY VERY hard...
not to mention eriador now start with a lot less regions, and, altough their units can fight, they are not the best soldiers, and even if u turn to arnor, u still need a good economy, since im sure their units are nothing but cheap...
consider arnor somewhat of a north-gondor... closest match u can find
Wow, this is definitely going to make me come bck to TATW.
BURN THE TRAITOR BURN THE TRAITOR!!!!! HERACY!

You know I also left some time ago, due to lack of time.
Very very good units! Brings the spice out of the Tolkien's legends
Just one remark though, as it will be my criticism. A lot of Arnorian units have capes on their backs in which personally makes the units too "noblish" compared to other units in Third Age
For God and Saint George!!
I only unistalled TATW. Never left the forums.
do you mean that i could play with the new eriador and arnor faction in the 1.4 version? or i must wait for the 1.5?
King Kong thank you ,and your mates to make my dream come true!!!!!!!
ARNOR WILL RISE AGAIN!!!!!!![]()
It's all well and wonderful and beautiful and fantasitc, but I still find playing in the North West corner of the map somewhat boring.
Needs another Evil faction up there.
Which I'm sure will be dealt with in time.
Brilliant work TATW team!
