How to make squares with 3 Ranks? And a custom unit with 4.

Any idea?
The square question is easy to understand ,even with my bad English,about the 4 lines,I use the x1.88 multiplier,so I have 300 soldiers ,and i think the AI lines are to large with 3 ranks ,so I want to made 4 ,any help?
