    Default Historical Firing Drills

Hey, I'm curious as to whether the firing drills of the napoleonic era historically were firebyrank/platoon fire or the free fire that the troops use in vanilla NTW. I don't see what's wrong with the free fire, it feels like basic line infantry types can still dish out ALOT of firepower for not using any type of firing drill. Definately more firepower than in ETW troops using front rank free firing. And didn't some men in columns firing while moving?? Thanks for the info...I'd rather have it historically accurate than have the firing drills that are best.
