I downloaded all 5 parts from Megaupload (SS 6.3)

now theyre in the download folder, but I can only open them with the VLC Media Player.
This 5 files are bin files
How can I open them?
Deamon Tools doesn't find any files..

Sorry to bother you again...

Can't seem to run the .exe installer file. When I download it it lists it as a "3[1]" file. Can't run it. I've tried re-downloading it on different days, same result. Is there something wrong with the download? Or am I a moron?

Read post #1324 and following or mark the file, hit F2 and add ".exe"

Im trying to install 6.3, everything goes smoothly well, until it tells me that I need Disk 1 (Which is already in my drive) but it still won't install, and it says the SS 6.3 bin cannot be located in any of my files, what's going on?

The instructions are to dowload all files into one folder and start SS6.3.exe (the installer) from there. This message tells you that the installer can't find the SS6.3-1.bin file needed. Either navigate the installer to that SS6.3-1.bin file (and the rest) or download if it is missing.

Let me put it this way.... what files of the download mirrors (see http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...p?t=341997#6.3) have you downloaded?

6 part download from MegaUpload

when I try to install the very first one (Not part one, the setup install), it wants me to use disk 1 to find something, but it cant find this file called SS bin 1, which I have no idea what that is or where it is

That bin is the second file you download from that mirror, prefixed "SS 6.3 Part 1". Are all of the all of the 5 parts (aside from the .exe) downloaded and in the same folder as SS6.3.exe?

Those files are needed for the install.... why would we put them up in the first place? Read the instructions:

DOWNLOAD THE ING BIN-FILES!

Well, despite the fact that you guys almost gave me a virus, its telling me save it somewhere, which I did, and it still wont open the files up

I've no idea what you are currently doing. There are no viruses in any of the mirrors.
All you have to do is save all files linked (exe and bin) into one folder and run the exe.
I'll close with the suggestion to use the torrent as this will download all files in one go and into one place as required.
