    It would be nice tho, but funny I haven't had battle involving forts yet in NTW no enemy nations seems to build them.

    Yeah,the only fort I have seen so far was the Austrian fort in the middle of the Italian campaign map.

    They are in the game, but you can't seem to make them work ingame.

    I whan Ladders to assault a fort, but the IA never make Forts in Citys or in a estrategy zone

    Forts were made very uncommon in NTW because of how unpopular they were in ETW.

    Too bad really since they are actually fun to play now.

    Agreed. The russians have twice failed to take one of my ottoman cities specifically because of the fort. It is just annoying as heck to try and get your people to man the cannons lining the top though.
    Ladders would be good. Help get men up faster.

    They never use this kind of rapel to Siege in Napoleon or Empire. Ladders is more realistic

    Escalades (attacks using ladders) were a very risky strategy but they could also have the element of surprise as your enemy would not be expecting it and the movement of the ladders into position could be achieved relatively quickly and noiselessly.
