Which half of Europe??? The Europe is there almost all. And yes its Napoleon:TW so no Canada or US. Although I find the geographic "work" (if it can be called even like this) of CA very superficial and quite often wrong. For example cities in wrong regions hundreds of kilometres from their right placement, or missing of some important mountains or rivers.

yer they just left out north africa and turkey, napoleon is too story driven, what happened to the what if element, make ur own empire.
the rest of the world was still there, what if napoleon invaded india, alexander the great did

Sorry, but historically France and Great Britain fought battle in all the world (during the time of the game)(naval battles and no), and USA was at war against Great Britain in the same time, the cost of North Africa was an important point of friction between France and Great Britain, etc etc... so i can't believe that the story was concentrated only in Europe. The map of NTW is very limited... and don't give the real sensation of the period... is only a big skirmish map (when a man tried to change the world... and conquest it), but its only a my idea...

However much you wish it to be so, the War of 1812 was not important. The coast of North Africa is covered, so you don't really need to whine about that, and there where no French troops of any importance in India during this time period.

If the CAI wasn't such dogshit when it came to global conflict and expansion it would be alright..

But since the AI is horrible at managing colonies it would be terrible.. and probably laggy as .

Alpaca made a rigid spline converter and apparently, though I could be wrong, messed around with scotland's border. The converter and picture are in the NTW tools and resources section.

I personally like the Whole World Mod map they got going on at the EU3 forums. It's pretty sweet and in terms of size and # of regions, it puts everything else I've ever seen to shame. If the modders here could do it, and the creator of the map would allow it, a WWM total war would be nothing short of epic.

what about just moving the Empire total war map into Napoleon total war (or is it more complicated then that).

MUCH more complicated. From what I have seen, you need to make a DB file for the region, ESF files, draw the region, etcetera.
