Sorry - my brain is overloaded. I do what with a UPC with how?
TOTALLY confused about the "add to your localisation.loc file in you patch_xx.pack the bart.localisation.loc include in this pack. (Use Pack File Manager For this)." part.
Release other units (reedit Ca' units and add others)
Limit units to the max available during this period (sample : 14 units of french cuirassiers)
Enhance the gameplay (better ai in the battles)

In NTW, there can be only one file to edit the screen names.
UPC is THE project to compile all them in one pack.
However; if you don't see the names of my new units on screen. You must update this file yourself in waiting of its new version.
What do you need ?
- UPC pack file (the last version),
- PACK FILE MANAGER, it's a tool to mod the Pack File, ( to erasmus), you can find it in twcenter,
- Excel or Wordpad to edit the tsv file i speek about.
Then do the process already present in the first post :
1 - Open your UPC.pack with Pack file manager,
2 - Select the localisation.loc file,
3 - Choose Export tsv in PFM Option,
4 - In this file, add the lines of my localisation.loc (Excel is good for that but you can also do it with wordpad)
5 - Choose import tsv in PFM Option,
6 - Save
UPC is not my project : No more available here. UPC is the work of "Swiss Halberdier".

Thank you.
I am sorry to be so stupid.
When you say " In this file, add the lines of my localisation.loc", do you mean delete the original contents and paste in yours, or just add yours at the end?
Sorry.
Add my lines, don't delete anything or you won't see any text in the game (No Titlemenu, options names....)
Yes, I just discovered that - scary!
3 - Choose Export tsv in PFM Option,
Can't find that option in PFM... Where can I find it?
Thanks for the reply, it works now!
However, the game crashes when I try a custom game with the new units. I've tried it with and without any mods (and the UCP, modded and unmodded)...
Edit: It happens when I select the Grenadier a Cheval unit. When I disable this mod the game crashes again.

WELL SEE,
OK I CORRECT THIS BUG, THE UPDATE IS UPLOAD.
ABOUT CTD :
To avoid CTD you must also replace the existing "startpos.esf" (delete it) by the "startpos.esf backup" (rename it "startpos.esf"). You will find these files in data/campaigns/eur_napoleon folder.

@bar07
Excellent!!! Finally one can recruit foreign units. Great work Bar07 +rep!
Oh yeah; Small question: The Aor_units is that the vanilla one? Meaning the one that originally came with the game?
Z.
TO ALL
PLEASE DOWNLOAD AGAIN THE Bart07modAORvanilla.pack.
I correct in a bug with grenadiers à cheval de la garde and gendarmes. If you don't download the last update, you will have a battle CTD when fighting with these units.
@bar07
Ah ok thanks. So I guess that the 32 new Units + some other unlocked units are in Bart_units & unlocked_units?
Other question: the Grenadiers a cheval & gendarmes bug was it that the soldiers did not match the amount of horses?
Z.
1 - yes, that's that.
2 - No, the bug come from something very strange, in the first pack i remove the shoulders (epaulettes) from these two units (i edit the variant files in hexediting)... no CTD,
In the second pack, i use exactly the same ... CTD, That's why theirs shoulders are now back.
Perhaps, i have to do two packs for this aor pack...

1 - Perfect tx!
2 - Strange indeed. Just tried Those 2 units in a custom battle but no problems here. (I used the old version of your mod). But to be one the safe side i'll download the new version. Tx again.
Z.
Edit :delete post..
all ok now..
thanks.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
This mod is amazing!
Got it to work this morning - I had saved user.script.txt without checking its type. It was ANSI so wouldn't work. Resaving it as Unicode and - WOW! THIS is what NTW should be like! One of the great joys in Napoleonic wargaming (etc) is the myriad nations fighting under the banners of the Big Five (or Six). Now I can have my French redcoats! (Well, Swiss.)
Err this would be great but there is to much for me in the selection menu... also why is there no unit cards> is it possible to do this?
